About This Agency
San Francisco AIDS Foundation’s Syringe Access and Disposal (SAS) program operates mobile vans at multiple sites around San Francisco, providing sterile syringes and injection and smoking supplies, wound care, safer sex supplies, and no-cost sharps disposal containers. The foundation also runs a Pick Up Crew, funded by the San Francisco Department of Public Health, that collects improperly discarded syringes citywide seven days a week.
