About This Agency
Advancing Connecticut Together (ACT), formerly AIDS Connecticut, operates the Connecticut Center for Harm Reduction, its HIV/STI prevention and substance use reduction division. Through this division, ACT runs a van-based Syringe Services Program offering sterile syringe exchange, safe needle disposal, naloxone distribution, and overdose response education in the Hartford area.
