About This Agency
The West Side Heroin/Opioid Task Force (WSHOTF), coordinated by Prevention Partnership and funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services, has worked since 2016 to address the opioid epidemic on Chicago’s West Side. The task force conducts street outreach four days a week in high-risk neighborhoods, distributing harm reduction supplies and connecting residents to services, and provides community education plus technical assistance to partner agencies through the Opioid Learning and Response Collaborative.
