About This Agency
Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) operates Syringe Exchange Programs (SEP) across the Hudson Valley, including in Spring Valley and Newburgh, providing needle exchange and disposal, health education, safer sex supplies, HIV and hepatitis C testing, and Narcan training, all no-cost and anonymous. In rural Ulster County, HVCS runs the Ulster County Outreach Program (UCOP), a mobile unit-based initiative providing Narcan, harm reduction supplies, education, and linkage to care.
