About This Agency
Greater Bridgeport Area Prevention Program (GBAPP) serves the greater Bridgeport, Connecticut community through education, HIV/STI prevention, and intervention. GBAPP operates a needle exchange program (Syringe Services Program) that provides sterile syringes and fentanyl test strips to people who inject drugs to reduce HIV and Hepatitis C transmission, along with no-cost HIV and Hepatitis C testing, condom distribution, PrEP navigation, case management, and Ryan White services.
